Christine Muniz...Creative Art Director

One of our Creative Arts Directors:

Christine Muniz I was born on June 30, 1967 in Schenectady, N.Y. I attended college in Burlington, V.T. where I met my husband. We were married in 1992 on Ocean Isle Beach in N.C. We have two children together Ryan and Megan. They are currently sixteen and fourteen.

I have had an interesting life to say the least, and I would not trade it. It made me who I am today. I chose a lot of side roads, back roads, and dark roads....and they all led me to a dead end the end of myself. I then could see a road with a sign called Truth and it was well lit. I took that road and it led me into the arms of my Savior. He has given me beauty for ashes, has taken my tattered clothes and replaced them with the royal ones he had waiting for me and I can now say I am a daughter of the King. I am forever grateful and now want to be a bond servant for Him!

I home school both of my children. God led me to take on this adventure five years ago and has given me a daily dose of grace to do it. It has not been easy, as anything He calls us to do rarely is. It take's dependence on Him and that is one of the many things He has taught me. I am learning everything again for the second time around along with the new and have learned that I still have a lot to learn. Maybe He thought I wasn't paying attention the first time... God really does have a sense of humor. Just recently He added Nikki Heape as our third student this year. I am active in a local home school co-op called Peaceful Harbor Lighthouse. I am a teacher to other home school children once a week and currently reside on the board.

I work one day a week as a Cosmologist in my mothers beauty salon in Calabash and have the freedom there to minister however God leads. I am an active servant of New Hope Ministry of Shallotte, N.C. It is a ministry mission that is an outreach of God's love that reaches people where they are, bringing restoration and hope. It includes Prison and Jail ministry, Community Outreaches, Women s Conferences, Women and Teenagers in crisis centers and shelters, and monthly Kingdom Woman's meetings at Community Chapel in Shallotte. My friend Christi Holden and I hold a woman's weekly bible study. We started it two years ago, the two of us being the only ones. God has sent some precious woman and we smile to see the fruitful growth and all He is yet to do!

I became a part of the drama with Anointed Vessels with my husband and daughter this past year in 2008. I enjoyed working alongside with people from different churches and denominations. This is truly a beautiful picture of the body of Christ. Christian brothers and sisters working together in unity, functioning as a body with all its parts, with Jesus Christ being the head, operating in the gifts and talents that are given to us by Him...to give Him back the Glory! Praise God, I believe this is a picture of the Bride He is preparing for all the world to see. Christ in us, the Hope of Glory! Colossians 1:27

I took the position (by faith) of Servant Leader along with my husband this year. I am very excited to work alongside a wonderful group of people who are like minded and compassionate about sharing the good news of the gospel through the Creative Arts. Come and see what God is doing, and be a vessel for God to pour into and out of..... For His Kingdom...For His Glory!
