Catch The Vision with a Brick

Anointed Vessels Ministry is seeking to build For His Glory. We feel that we would most honor God if we built this without going into debt. In Samuel 2:30 Those who honor me, I will honor.

WHY do we not want to borrow ? When God gave me this work to do, I ask Him how could I get people to give of their time, talents, and money into seeing this get done, as most people including Christians want to know WHATS IN IT FOR ME ?

I went into prayer and fasting, and one night the Lord woke me up with a Neon Sign Flashing. SOULS FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD thats what you tell them. Souls for the Kingdom of God are whats in it for them. WOW ! How can we ask for anything greater, huh ? The Lord reminded me that Moses issued a command, and a proclamation was circulated throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer perform work for the contributions of the sanctuary. Thus the people were restrained from bringing any more. For the material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to perform it. (Exodus 36:6-7) We here at Anointed Vessels Ministry is seeing this coming to past as year after year, Gods people are giving their time, talents, gifts, materials and yes, money to help walk in the vision and the mission of Anointed Vessels Ministry.

The Lord let me know that even in the area of money, that he has given the gift of helps, for there is those whose gift is money to help and assist leaders in ministry in serving to help them fulfill their responsibilities to God. Romans 12:7 If it is serving, let him serve, if it is teaching, let him teach, if it is encouraging, let him encourage, if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously, if it is leadership, let him govern diligently, if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

OPPORTUNTY IS GOD GIVEN, YOU HAVE OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE

1. Borrowing denies Gods people the opportunity to experience His overwhelming blessings in response to giving what is clearly within His will. 2 Corinthians 9:10

2. We are told in 1 John 3:22 that we can ask of God and expect to receive. And receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him. The experience of seeing God provide through His people is a witness to those within and without the church. Very few non-believers could be convincing that there is anything supernatural or miraculous about a loan. Few would deny that there is something at least unique about a debt free ministry.

3. A debt would restrict the ability of the member to serve God. Quite often, ministry decisions are abased not eh need to meet the debt payments rather than to fund current ministry outreaches, and the needs of the people.

4. Too often, supporting the Lords work is viewed as an obligation instead of being depicted as a God given opportunity or privilege. Paul encourages believer to give with a cheerful heart.

5. In Anointed Vessels Ministry, we represent many different churches and we encourage our members to support their local churches with their tithes as not to take away for their local church. We do this so we can have the support of our local churches and Pastors. Those who receive the Lord Jesus can go to their local churches for support, teaching and discipleship. We gladly receive love offerings and receive from those to whom the Lord would ask to give into this ministry.

6. We would also like to generate cash surpluses so we can survive and expand the ability to function effectively when we come to a place of consisted ministry on the ground when all 5 phases are up and running.

7. Ministries having financial problems do little to advance the cause of Christ. The entire tone and direction of this ministry, as well as the testimony to the outside community suffer. We are Anointed Vessels Ministry owe it to our Lord to keep our ministry headed in the right direction and thats where you can help.

Method of Construction

The tabernacle was the production of willing hands and hearts. God’s house was financed by Gods people, and not through suppers, junk sales, and bingo parties. Some of the most inspiring verse in the Old Testament speaks of this sweet and sacrificial spirit. Another precious truth involved in the tabernacle project was the fact that God personally observed each gift which was given, no matter how small. This is dramatically brought out in Numbers 7, where twelve tiny gold boxes of incense are given by twelve different individuals. In spite of the fact that the gifts were identical and inexpensive ($6.50) per box, God nevertheless acknowledges each person and each gift.
